Dr. Alex Pistorius approaches dentistry with a unique blend of technical precision, genuine warmth and a passion for human connection. Originally from Utah, Dr. Pistorius earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry.

His journey into dentistry began in a pharmacy, where he worked as a technician. While he loved healthcare, he realized he wanted a career that allowed for deeper, long-term relationships with his patients. After shadowing a local dentist and witnessing a life-changing smile transformation for a patient with severe staining, He knew he had found his calling. Today, he focuses on restorative and esthetic dentistry by specializing in crowns, strong and seamless fillings, and simplified extractions to give patients back both the function and beauty of their smiles.

He believes great dental care starts with listening. He prioritizes patient education, ensuring everyone who sits in his chair feels fully informed and empowered to make the best decisions for their health.

Outside the office, Dr. Pistorius is a lifelong athlete and outdoorsman who grew up competing in everything from cross country to chess. These days, you can find him hiking, paddleboarding, running, or playing spikeball. He and his wife Hailey, who were high school track teammates before becoming best friends and then spouses in 2020, are looking forward to welcoming their first daughter in August. As a dedicated provider, he looks forward to serving as a trusted leader, a friendly neighbor, and a lifelong partner in your oral health.
